This set is the best. The pattern is beautiful--subtly lovely. An interesting design that you won't get sick of, and that you could mix with other things if you already have some platinum pieces. Plus the porcelain feels sturdy in your hands; you won't be afraid to use it.

A graceful white-on-white palmetto leaf design on fine bone china is the hallmark of this classic dinnerware. With glistening platinum, it is compatible with many other patterns and pieces, inviting you to create imaginative and ever-changing table settings.A combination of fine bone china and shining platinum, Lenox's Hannah pattern is classically beautiful--elegant enough for formal dining and versatile enough for any season's table colors. The pieces feature a wide pattern of white-on-white palmetto leaf and filigree around the rim. Inside the pattern is a thin circle of platinum and outside it is a wider band of the precious metal. A gleaming glaze over all brings out the graceful combination. Each five-piece place setting in this 20-piece set includes a 10-7/8-inch dinner plate, an 8-1/4-inch salad/dessert plate, a 6-1/4-inch bread and butter plate, a 6-inch saucer, and a 6-ounce teacup. The platinum accents on the teacup are especially attractive--they highlight the rim, the foot, and both sides of the curved handle. The pieces in this setting are dishwasher-safe and covered by Lenox's lifetime replacement policy. The pattern also comes in serving pieces and accessories. --Emily Bedard
