Customer Review: Simply Beautiful!

I recently purchased this set to replace my old Corelleware. They are absolutely beautiful and so far seem to handle going into the microwave great. Someone complained earlier that they get too hot when used in the microwave oven. I actually like the fact that they are a little thicker on the bottom because they hold/keep the heat from the microwave, so food stays warm longer. I also read a complaint that the cups were hard to sip from because of the pretty scalloped edging. I have not found that to be the case and have received compliments on them when serving coffee in them for our guests. In fact I have received compliments on the entire set from everyone who has enjoyed them so far (including my picky husband). He had his doubts but once he got to see them he decided the pattern was really nice. So, in summary we LOVE these and plan on using them for many, many years. I have ordered the rice bowls, salad set and plan on ordering lots more over time!
Oh and I might add that Amazon has always been great with shipping things out fast and packing them well! The free shipping...well what a wonderful bonus! We love Amazon!

Based on designs from Lenox artist Louise de Luyer, Butterfly Meadow's dinnerware set mixes and matches a variety of meadow scenes, each featuring a species of butterfly with a different bloom.
